Earn Money Writing Localized Content

Most people who write online would like to be able to earn writing localized content but it can be hard to find the right audience for your work. Many topics would appeal to local readers only and Examiner gives writers the opportunity to write about local topics that are designed to attract local readers. Examiner is the perfect site for anyone who wants to earn writing localized content.
There are many different categories to choose from and if they don’t have just the right category, you can submit information to have a new category assigned to you. All 50 states have Examiner pages and the categories can be about anything. This month the categories that are in great need are Autos & Motorcycles, Sports, Recreation, News, and Green.
The Green category is any type of writing that will stand the test of time. Newsworthy articles are very important to keep the site fresh and new but there needs to be a balance with articles about topics that don’t change.
If you are interested in writing about a specific category but maybe more narrow to a topic, you can choose to write about sports but maybe you only want to write about football. Just be careful not to limit your topic so much that you aren’t able to find articles to write during that’s sports off season.
In addition to many discounts available from service and retail companies, Examiner also has a structure of pay for articles based on how often you publish, how many viewers or subscribers you have, how many visitors you have and how long people stay on Examiner reading and viewing articles.  It’s a challenge but the financial rewards come from dedication and hard work. Join Examiner today to earn writing localized content.

When the Muse Strikes

I admit to being one of those people who really doesn't care for the 9-5 thing when it comes to working or writing. I can't really consider writing work because it's something that I love to do. I need to write when the muse strikes.

A muse, in my mind, was some ethereal creature that would whisper encouragement and ideas so softly that the writer would think the thoughts had been their own. A muse would give inspiration, encouragement and solace.

My muse is a bit more... in your face.... My muse tends to give me a mental shake when I'm having problems thinking of what subject to tackle. He (yes, only a male would give me this much grief) has a problem with my writing nonfiction when what I have always been drawn to is fiction.

It's tempting to listen to my muse but if I want to make writing a career or writing online a career, fiction doesn't seem to be the best choice. I have yet to find my niche in writing online and my muse impatiently taps his foot while he waits.

Interesting that my muse seems to resemble the grim reaper more than an ethereal creature to inspire. I fear my muse is trying to tell me something that I refuse to hear.
